My oldest has turned 6! I remember when Gracie was first born and everybody told me "that the time flies by and goes so fast" I remember thinking she's only 5 months old. Now she's 6 years old and in Kindergarten. It's true that they do grow up fast. Anybody who has a baby now and wishes that there baby would crawl, walk, talk, etc.... Just remember they have the rest of there lives to do those things and to enjoy every moment while there little.

I gave Gracie a birthday party at our house on February 7th at our house. It was a valentines theme. It was so much fun and Gracie and her friends had a good time. It was so cute to see her interact with her friends and classmates from school. First we played Valentine Bingo, Gracie's favorite-musical chairs, and then pin the cupid on the heart. Next I had them decorate there own cupcakes and sang happy birthday. I made them these princess drinks that consisted of Cherry 7-up, vanilla ice-cream, and whip cream with pink sprinkles. They were so yummy! The girls ended up blowing bubbles in there drinks and laughing hysterically.

Jeff and I got Gracie a new bicycle since she had totally outgrown her first bike. She went from a 16" to a 20". It's the cutest bike ever and now I want one just like it. It's a little beach cruiser with a little basket in front and is Purple and Orange. She is really enjoying riding around in the neighborhood and can't wait to go on an official bike ride when the weather gets warmer.

Thank You everybody who helped me with the party Fay, Megan, and Holli. I couldn't of pulled it off without you.

Gracie, I love you and couldn't imagine my life without you. You are my special little girl.

That Princess Drink sounds fabulous!

What a great party. Next time I want an invite.

Hope you are feeling good. You look great...but then you always do.

I can relate to what you wrote about how quickly they grow-up. I miss the baby days so much that as much as I don't want to age to quickly...I'm really looking forward to the Grandma years.

The drink was fabulous! If you mix it in the blender it's even yummier!
I love the baby newborn days. I crave them. Toddler days? Not so much but I'll work on that:)

Happy Birthday Gracie! And I think Summer is right, that birthday party sounds like the biggest FUN! I wish I could have been there, too. And now that your oldest is 6, it is definately time for the next baby :-) Love from the Minerts in Germany
